The new Tarte Tartelette 2 In Bloom Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette is just amazing!
I bought it just two weeks ago and I’ve been in love with it ever since. I’m so excited and can’t wait to try out different looks and combine all these beautiful shades.
This is actually my first Tarte eyeshadow palette ever, and maybe that’s why I’m so pleasantly surprised. Honestly, right after I opened it up, I needed 20 minutes just to look at it and admire it. I’m so thankful for Tarte.
First of all, it smells so good! I’ve heard that Tarte palettes smell nice, but I didn’t expect this strong, sweet scent. Definitely something that puts a smile on my face!

The packaging is lovely – the floral print on the outside is way too cute and the gold detail on the inside makes it look so elegant. I especially like the big mirror, but I’m kind of bummed that there’s no eyeshadow brush included. The packaging is light and it closes very firmly – which makes this palette travel friendly and great for carrying around.
The shades are an excellent variation of colors, 12 neutrals of which 9 are matte and 3 are shimmery.
- Charmer – off white matte
- Jetsetter – warm taupe matte
- Rocker – shimmering taupe
- Smokeshow – black brown matte
- Flower Child – peachy nude matte
- Smarty Pants – tan matte
- Firecracker – bronze copper
- Activist – dark brown matte
- Funny girl – shimmering champagne
- Sweetheart – peach matte
- Rebel – chestnut brown matte
- Leader – aubergine matte
So far, my favorites are Jetsetter, Rocker, Leader, Firecracker, Funny Girl, Smarty Pants and I really like Charmer because it’s a subtle white, not the white that would pop up too much. Basically I love ALL of these shades and I think they’re an absolute must – have for all matte lovers.
The formula is just perfect: they’re highly pigmented, easy to blend and provide an even application. The texture of each one is very soft and velvety which makes the blending so quick and simple (especially the shimmery ones). I love how there’s absolutely no fallout and I can apply my foundation first when using this palette. There’s no chance of making a mess under the eyes, so I definitely recommend this palette to all makeup beginners.
Over to the swatches…
Charmer, Jetsetter, Rocker, Smokeshow
Flower Child, Smarty Pants, Firecracker, Activist
Funny Girl, Sweetheart, Rebel, Leader
After applying these shades, I finish up my eye makeup with a coat of The Lancome Grandiose mascara .
I’ll skip the part where I list pros and cons just because I can’t think of any cons. You may think this is a sponsored post but I actually bought it and I’m so happy to have made that choice.
Overall, I highly recommend the Tartelette 2 In Bloom Amazonian Clay palette for everyone that loves a warm, neutral look with just a hint of shimmer. Get it here and give it a try!
